Support and Advice
Following an initial visit a business plan is drawn up, working with you to facilitate the implementation
of changes and supported by quarterly visits or as required. All advice is impartial and constructive,
in addition support is available either by phone or in person as and when it is required.
Audits and Actions Plans
An initial audit will be carried out to establish current standards of hygiene, food practices, food safety,
documentation and the premise compliance with the current legislation and best practice.
The report will be discussed with you highlighting the performance gaps with advice and solutions to
rectify problem areas.
Further audits and support visits will be planned with some unannounced visits taking place to measure
actual performance, the needs of your business and times will be selected to avoid service periods if
these are areas being assessed.
Risk Assessments, HACCP, COSHH and Documentation
Reports will be produced for all of your documentation and will highlight areas of concern.
Advice, support and guidance will be available to rectify any issues found in present systems and
documentation. Safe working practices will be discussed and a hazard analysis will be undertaken to
control manage critical control point in your process.
Stock Management, Marketing and Development
Advice on promoting new ideas such as healthy eating, food service methods, employee development and
ways to build revenues and related issues are available to maximise current uptake of your services.
We will also train your employees who are in control of stock and resources.
Training and Practical Workshops
Following an initial audit we will produce a development plan highlighting training needs and options
available to you to help build teamwork, provide relief cover and build your employees’ confidence and
allow effective use of time and resources.
We currently offer Foundation, Refresher, Intermediate and Advanced Food Hygiene Certificates.
HACCP training is available at Basic and Intermediate levels.
NVQ Levels 1 & 2 in Food Preparation & Service and additional courses are also available, please contact us for a full list of courses.
