The Silver package is designed to enable you to demonstrate good practices and comply with current legislation, it is offers additional support and audits.

Support and Advice
Following an initial visit a business plan will be drawn up, working with you to facilitate the implementation of changes required in the audit report. This is supported by 2 visits over the year and progress achieved is monitored and evaluated in a report. All advice is impartial and constructive, in addition support is available either by phone or in person as and when it is required.

Audits and Actions Plans
An initial audit will be carried out to establish current standards of hygiene, food practices, food safety, documentation and the premise compliance with the current legislation and best practice. The report will be discussed with you highlighting the performance gaps with advice and solutions to rectify problem areas. 2 visits to support and evaluate performance will take place to re-focus on the business plan and new legislation. All audits and visits are arranged for your convenience and will avoid service periods if they are not under review.

Risk Assessments, HACCP, COSHH and Documentation
The audit involves looking at present standards of control and management of HACCP, COSHH and documentation. Advice and guidance is available to implement changes to systems and best practice.

Stock Management Marketing and Development
We give advice and support on topical issues e.g. healthy eating, cold package deals etc, how to increase uptake in your service, targeting key weaknesses in your service, employees’ development, kitchen refitting and planning along with other service related issues. We advise on issues relating to stock management and stocktaking, advice is also available to increase your profit margins and stock security.

Training and Practical Workshops
Following an initial audit an employee development plan will be formulated to focus on weaknesses in training and highlighting opportunities to develop teamwork and practical skills.

NVQ Levels 1 & 2 in Food Preparation & Service Training, Teamwork & Junior Management and other courses are available
